Answers to questions you may be asking yourself.

MetalUnites is a globally active project on the subject of “Heavy Metal”.

On our site, you’ll find free and exclusive videos from the metal scene, from hard rock to grindcore.
You’ll also find freely accessible podcasts and reviews from the creators.
Members with METALHEAD or WARRIOR status receive specials (discounts, extras, etc.) from partners and can obtain these online (via form on the individual partner sites) or in person with their membership card.
Our online shop features our own MU merchandise, as well as exclusive products in collaboration with bands, whose videos we’ll be presenting to you.

The bands receive a share of everything, so by becoming a member, you’re also supporting the participating bands.

A paid membership is worthwhile if you:

– Want to see exclusive videos from smaller bands
– Want to support bands financially
– Want to receive special conditions from partners involved in the „METAL“ sector (tattoo studios, labels, dealers, metal pubs, etc.)
– Want to buy exclusive products from bands (e.g., signed recordings or special merchandise) or MetalUnites merchandise

In general there are:

– free and exclusive (membership required) videos
– podcasts
– reviews
– event overview
– MU partners and their member specials (only available for METALHEADS and WARRIOR)
– in the future we will integrate more things, such as classified ads for members, etc.

MetalUnites offers the following video categories:

Live concerts (LIV), so-called “Officials” (OFF), rehearsal room recordings (REH), “Lyric videos” (LYR) and interviews (INT)

In general, the best way to contact us is by e-mail.

You can also contact us via our social media channels using a PN.
For certain topics, you will find contact forms on the subpages that you can use.

Our official office hours (may change depending on the situation) are from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Outside of these hours we do NOT send out goods or membership cards etc.
As we are only a small team, this can also change in the event of illness.
You may also meet us at one or other event at weekends.

The opening, shipping and vacation times can be found in the footer of the website.

You can view our content essentially anywhere and at any time, as long as there’s an internet connection, where it’s technically possible, and where access to our website is permitted.

Log in to the website at metalunites.de with your MetalUnites account to view content directly on your computer.
You can log in on any device with an internet connection that can display website content via a browser, such as smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and game consoles.

How many accesses do I have with my membership?

We are not a giant like Netflix and Co.
Therefore, each account has only one access.

It is not possible to log in from several devices at the same time.

It may happen that some browsers do not display videos.

In this case, you should first make sure that you have given your consent regarding cookies, services, etc., as some browsers have very strict requirements in this regard.

You can always recognize exclusive content by the red lettering “members only”.

Or the white crown on a red circle.
Under the menu item “MU content” you will also find the item “Exclusive videos”, under which we have summarized all videos that only you as a member can access.

The menu item “Exclusive Bands” shows you which bands provide exclusive videos for you. You can search through the genres relevant to you or view a complete overview of all participating bands.

Can I make suggestions for “exclusive content”?

Yes!

On the page of our exclusive videos all paying members have the possibility to fill in a form with their wishes (e.g. specific band or which genre they generally prefer and want).

You will find the band search directly to the right of the main menu.

The button “Become a member” takes you to the membership selection page.

Select your desired membership level, choose the term (monthly, quarterly or annually), select your preferred payment method (PayPal, Mollie/bank or Stripe/bank/credit card etc.) and make a binding booking.

As a ROCKER you can watch exclusive videos on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis and get access to the online store.
As a METALHEAD and WARIOR, you have annual access and also receive a real membership card made of environmentally friendly material.
As a METALHEAD and WARRIOR you can take advantage of all our partners‘ specials.

Only as a METALHEAD and WARRIOR you can take advantage of all our partners‘ specials.

If you use an offer from one of our partner companies, the contract is concluded exclusively between you and the partner company. We ourselves are not a contractual partner and do not participate in the contract execution.

From the moment of contact, the partner company is solely responsible for the fulfillment, quality, safety, and legality of the offer.
Therefore, before using an offer, please check whether it meets your expectations and whether the partner company is suitable for you.

As a metal fan club or association, you have the option of creating group accounts with the METALHEAD membership level.
You must have at least five members; a maximum of 25 members can belong to a group account.

During the registration process, you must provide proof of membership, such as website URLs and, if applicable, club numbers.

Here’s how it works:

A member opens a main account and pays for it directly.
They will then find the link to „Manage Group“ in their account (Membership section).
There, they can invite members via email or set up accounts directly.

Members receive a group code, which they can then enter when registering as METALHEAD.

They then pay nothing more.
The group account is slightly cheaper for all members.

The member who created the main account receives the membership cards by post, which they then distribute.

Downgrade:

What you CANNOT do is change from a more expensive level to a cheaper one.

So NOT from Warrior to METALHEAD or a ROCKER, or from METALHEAD to a ROCKER, or from a ROCKER (y) to ROCKER (q) or ROCKER (m) and NOT from ROCKER (q) to ROCKER (m).

Upgrade:

An upgrade is possible at any time.
As a member you can generally upgrade immediately, but then you virtually end your level and start a new level with a new payment cycle.

If you are undecided, then we would advise you to start with a monthly ROCKER membership and then see if it is something for you and then possibly choose a longer term or if you want to become a METALHEAD immediately afterwards.

It is not possible for us to refund you for unused days or months.

As a ROCKER, there are the following test phases before you make a payment:

ROCKER (q): quarterly access (3 months) has a test phase of 3 days.

ROCKER (y): annual access (12 months) also has a test phase of 3 days.

For the METALHAD and WARRIOR levels, test phases are not possible as we work with partner specials and membership cards, which we can only grant for a minimum annual term of 1 year.

Yes, you can.
Even if you’re not a member yourself.

Click the „Become a member“ button to access the membership selection page.

Select „The gift for metal fans“ and click the „Buy gift“ button.

There you can then purchase and gift either a ROCKER or METALHEAD annual membership.

Choose your desired membership level, the term (monthly, quarterly, or annually), select your preferred payment method (PayPal or Stripe (bank transfer, credit cards etc.)), and make a binding reservation.

As a ROCKER, you can watch exclusive videos monthly, quarterly, or annually and receive access to the online shop.
As a METALHEAD and WARRIOR, you have annual access and also receive a genuine membership card made of environmentally friendly material.

If you’re tired of MetalUnites, you can cancel at any time. However, your current membership period will remain valid. In the menu item „Your MU Account“, you’ll find everything about your account, including the cancellation option.

A MetalUnites membership costs money, because on the one hand it is a commercial project, on the other hand we pay the bands money and of course we also have costs with GEMA, for video production, web hosting, employees, freelancers etc., which have to be covered.

MetalUnites membership is currently available at different levels:
ROCKER / METALHEAD.

All prices do not include VAT (for example, Germany is 19%).
For this reason, all users must state their country of residence upon registration.

Country-specific VAT will be added to the final price.

You can, of course, see it before paying.

ROCKER: Here you pay €2.50 net monthly, €6.90 quarterly, or €24.00 annually.

METALHEAD: Here you pay €29.00 net annually* and receive special offers from partners, including an annual membership card.

The WARRIOR level is under development, and you can upgrade at any time.

* As a metal fan club/association with at least 5 members, you pay €27.50 net per person.

Membership Payment

You can pay for your membership via PayPal or Stripe.

PayPal does not require a customer account for all options, and Stripe (SEPA direct debit or SEPA bank transfer, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and possibly various other payment options) also does not require a customer account.

IMPORTANT:

You cannot use bank transfer for recurring payments (ROCKER (q), ROCKER (y), METALHEAD subscriptions).

By SEPA bank transfer (SEPA direct debit works!) only the ROCKER (m) is possible, as well as the gift (ROCKER (y) and METALHEAD as a one-off payment).

If your account balance is insufficient or if there are other problems beyond our control, we will unfortunately have to charge you for the resulting costs (and any follow-up costs). This information can also be found in the Terms and Conditions.

You will only find Google Pay if you are browsing with the Chrome browser and have configured it accordingly.

You will only find Apple Pay if you are browsing with an Apple browser and have configured it accordingly.

Please have your bank details or credit card information ready.

Payment in the Shop

In addition to PayPal, you can also pay with Mollie in the shop, which makes bank transfers particularly attractive. You don’t need a customer account here and can pay directly with your bank using the transfer details you receive.

The same applies here: if your account is insufficient or if there are other problems beyond our control, we will unfortunately have to charge you for the resulting costs (and any follow-up costs). You can also find this information in the Shop Terms and Conditions.

If you’ve booked the ROCKER (q) or ROCKER (y), you’ll receive a three-day trial period.

This means you book the package on October 10th, for example, and the next payment is due on October 13th in the overview.

You have three days to cancel if you don’t like it. You won’t be charged anything.

If a charge is made by mistake, please contact us immediately by email with a screenshot or similar. We’ll sort it out.

In your account, you’ll find the „Order History“ section, which shows the order date, the membership level, the price, and the status.

If you click on the date, you’ll be taken to the order details page and will find the option „Print or save as PDF“ in the top right corner.

You can upgrade at any time, i.e. from the:

– ROCKER (m) to the ROCKER (q)/ROCKER (y)/METALHEAD/WARRIOR

– ROCKER (q) to the ROCKER (y)/METALHEAD/WARRIOR

– ROCKER (y) to the METALHEAD/WARRIOR

– METALHEAD to the WARRIOR

The new level then starts immediately.

A downgrade is not possible.
When you try, you will see the message “You cannot book this membership level.”

You can only let your membership expire and then book another level if necessary.

You only have to cancel your MetalUnites membership manually if you no longer want the benefits, because we have built in a standard automatic renewal so that you have as little effort as possible and don’t get annoyed if you forget to renew.

We have set up a ROCKER membership for one month so that you don’t have to cancel – your membership simply expires.

If you have booked the METALHEAD or WARRIOR membership levels, which mean an annual membership, you have the chance to receive a “golden” membership card.

Members who have held a membership for 5 consecutive years will receive this card.

The 6th membership card will then be “golden”.
This means that membership is free for the 6th year and there are specials that we only offer to “golden members”.

However, we also reserve the right to grant a “golden” membership to very special metal fans and will do so according to internally defined criteria and announce this individually.

Free videos:
We try to add at least one new video to the collection every week.
However, this depends on how many videos we find or receive that meet the quality requirements.

Exclusive videos:
Our aim is to publish a new exclusive video at least once a month.

We also try to serve a balanced range of styles.
This ultimately depends on how many confirmations we receive from bands and event organizers.

So the goal is 12 new videos per year.

As a company with a „metal connection,“ such as a jewelry manufacturer/seller, merchandiser, record label, T-shirt producer, metal pub, event venue, etc., you can become a MetalUnites partner and advertise in a variety of ways.
