MetalUnites, the project

Hi, I'm Michael, but please call me Mike.
Hi, I'm Michael, but please call me Mike.
I had the idea for MetalUnites.
I've been self-employed with a marketing agency since 2007 and always wanted to pursue a career in metal.
As a musician, that's no longer possible; I'm an old fart.
But MetalUnites was already an idea I wanted to realize back in 2015.
Because of the coronavirus pandemic, I paused the project in 2018 shortly before its launch and have now rebuilt it.
Yes, it is a commercial project, but the background is that I want to help smaller bands in particular. I want to create a platform where everyone can present themselves and also benefit from it (reach, payment, ...)
Apart from right-wing nuts, everyone is “hellcome” on the platform, because I want to create a worldwide and anti-racist community of metal fans.
It doesn't matter which genre you feel you belong to, from hard rock to grindcore, EVERYTHING should be combined.
Some people wonder why a MetalUnites membership costs money.
Well, first of all, it's actually a company that has to pay bills.
These invoices also include videographers who record and edit exclusive videos of bands on our behalf and make them available to us.
And the bands will also get a share of your contribution.
Not enough to pay for a rehearsal room for a year, but still a lot more than Spotify and the like. Bands get paid according to the number of members and the total length of the videos that we offer exclusively.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to send them to me.
I'll try to answer everything.
Greetings and HORNS,
Mike
